New Brand: Getting to know Murphy's Bakery!

When we introduce a new brand to our boutique we like to give you guys a bit more information and background to the products that we've just added and how they've ended up with us. Today we'd like to introduce you to the wonderful Murphy's Bakery. Run by the lovely Julie, Murphy's Bakery make a range of homemade biscuits & other wholesome dog treats. Here to tell you more about her fabulous business is the lady herself, Julie.

Thank you for joining us! First off, what was the inspiration behind Murphy's Bakery?

"Murphys’s Bakery was established in 2014 following the sad loss of a very special dog called Murphy."

- What sets you apart from other dog treats/biscuits?

"All of our biscuits are totally hand made using only the freshest ingredients . They have been tested so that we know exactly what goes into each flavour and how wonderfully natural they are (with no additives etc) so great for sensitive tummies too."

- Which is your most popular product?

"The 2 most popular flavours are the Beef & Cheddar and the Peanut Butter & Banana (But I think this is the owners thoughts and not necessarily the dogs ) lol. However strangely with the few customers we have abroad it is the Apple & Oats and Carrot &Banana that are the favourites there."

- What has been a highlight of your journey so far with Murphy's Bakery?

"The highlight so far for me is actually raising quite a lot of money for Save a Spanish Spot with one of Murphy’s raffle prizes . I was so proud . Greatly needed funds."

- What does the future hold for Murphy's Bakery?

"I am totally passionate about these biscuits (so are my own dogs lol ) and being able to produce such a lovely product (and possibly new flavours) is what we are aiming to carry on doing ( A new Christmas flavour is already well on the way )So thank you for stocking our biscuits and letting all the wonderful dogs in Ireland try them too!"
